The OpusClip Android app brings AI video clipping to your phone. Here’s a clear picture of what’s available now and what’s coming in future updates.
Available on Android 12+ via Google Play in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, and Brazil. English only at launch.

Which features are available on the Android App?

Login & Signup

  • Sign in with Google or Email
  • Projects created on the web sync automatically to the app

Import

  • YouTube URL: Paste any YouTube link to start clipping
  • Local upload: Upload videos directly from your device gallery or local files
The following are not available yet:
  • Google Drive Import: Not supported on Android
  • Auto Import: Not supported on Android

Clipping & Output

  • AI clipping with Virality Score (0–99), scored on Hook, Flow, and Trend
  • Clip settings: video length, clip length, clipping mode, aspect ratio, and caption preset
  • Animated captions at 97%+ accuracy
  • AI Reframe for 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, and 16:9
  • Download to phone or share to social in one tap
  • Watermark removal (Pro)

Account Page

From the Account page you can:
  • Manage personal account settings
  • Submit a Feature Request
  • Access Get Support
  • View the OpusClip WebApp link — for a more advanced editing and publishing experience, use OpusClip on the web

Current limitations on Android App

Editing & Customization

The Android app does not include an editor at this time. The following are not available yet:
  • Manual / transcript editor
  • AI enhancements, B-Roll, and Image overlay
  • Brand Templates
For full editing, please log in to OpusClip via a desktop browser.

Other current limitations

  • Social Media Scheduling: Direct posting and scheduling is not available yet. Use the web version for scheduling and posting.
  • Storage & Auto Save: Cloud storage and auto-save settings are not supported yet. You can manage these from the web version.
  • Push Notifications: Not available at launch — check back in the app manually when your clips are ready.
  • Billing: All upgrades use Google Play Billing only. There is no “upgrade on web” option on Android.
  • Language: English only at launch. More languages are coming in a future update.

We’re Improving

The Android app launched in June 2026 with core clipping features — and more is on the way!
We’re actively working to expand the Android app. The editor, scheduler, bulk download, push notifications, localization and more are planned for future updates. Want to share feedback? Use the Feature Request option in the app’s Account page — we read everything.
