According to the Terms of Service, you are fully responsible for using OpusClip in a lawful manner. You are only allowed to upload content that you have the right to use. This includes content owned and created by you, as well as content that you do not own but you have the license to use, for example:
  • You have purchased or otherwise obtained permission or license from the copyright owner to use the content
  • The content is distributed to you under an open source or creative commons license
  • You are using the content in a manner consistent with Fair Use Doctrine
Any content owned by the user remains under the ownership of the user after being uploaded to OpusClip.
It is against our Terms of Service to violate someone else’s copyright while using OpusClip. Your violating clips may be subject to a DMCA takedown notice or other enforcement action.
