Why Did my Project Fail or Take a Long Time?

What are some common reasons why projects may fail?
- A heavy workload on OpusClip servers.
- Uploading content that is not supported, such as language or subject matter.
- Not able to render enough clips.
- Not able to render any clips.
- Not enough words detected.
What are some common reasons why projects may process longer than expected?
OpusClip may be experiencing high loads or there may be lots of projects processing, please bear with us until our servers catch up - thanks!
What are some common errors when projects fail?
- “Language not supported. Please check our list of over 20 supported languages.”
- “Unfortunately, we were unable to generate enough clips from your submitted video. Your credits have been promptly refunded to your account. Please try again with the same or different video.”
- “We cannot deliver the result because our servers hit an uncommon issue. Credits have been returned to your account. Please wait for our servers to recover in an hour or so to try again. If you contact support, please send them a screenshot of this error: [specific error message here]
- “Project not found”
- “Videos need at least 30 spoken words to be processed. Bring on the words!
- “We were not able to render any clips so all credits have been returned to your account. You can try again or use a different video.”
What sort of messages will I see if my project is taking a long time to process?
- “Your video is processing”
- “You will receive a notification once your video is done processing, check back soon!”
What happens if my projects take more than 90 minutes to complete processing, or fails?
Credits will be automatically reimbursed to your account.
How do I know if my credits have been reimbursed?
Check your credit usage history by selecting your avatar at the top right, and then selecting “Credit usage history”. If you’ve had credits reimbursed, the numbers will be green, or just show a (-) instead of a number.
