Opus Labs is an early-access product catalog for new AI creation tools. It is a separate product from OpusClip, but you sign in with the same OpusClip account.
Use Opus Labs when you want to try an experimental workflow before it becomes part of a wider OpusClip release.
How Opus Labs differs from OpusClip
OpusClip is the main product for turning long videos into short clips. Opus Labs contains standalone beta products, each with its own workflow, availability, and help article.
A Labs product may change while it is in beta. Its interface, supported inputs, models, and credit price can be updated independently from OpusClip.
How to open a product
The Opus Labs catalog. Select Try it now to open a product.
- Go to labs.opus.pro.
- Find the product you want to use.
- Select Try it now.
- If asked, sign in with your OpusClip account.
Which products are available?
The catalog shows the Labs products that are currently available to your account. The initial Help Center section covers AI Expand and Motion Studio.
If you cannot find a product, confirm that you are signed in with the correct account. The product may also be limited to a beta group.
Vote for what comes next
At the bottom of the Opus Labs catalog, the Coming next section shows product ideas that the team is considering. Vote for the ideas you want most.
The Coming next section shows each idea’s vote count and a separate Get early access button.
- Go to Coming next.
- Find an idea you want Opus Labs to build.
- Select the vote-count button on the card.
- If asked, sign in with your OpusClip account.
Each signed-in account can cast one vote for each idea. Select the vote-count button again to remove your vote. Voting does not use credits and does not automatically give you access to the product.
To ask for access when the idea becomes available, select Get early access. Voting and joining the early-access list are separate actions.
Access and credits
Opus Labs and OpusClip use the same credit balance. Credits used in an Opus Labs product are deducted from the balance on your OpusClip account. Each product shows the estimated cost before you start a generation step, so review that amount before continuing.
Get help
Each Labs product has its own Help Center article. When contacting support, include the product name, the step where the problem happened, and a screenshot of any error message. Do not include passwords, API keys, or private customer media.
