How long will OpusClip save my projects?

Due to our large user base, we are unable to keep all projects created with OpusClip indefinitely in a cost-effective manner. As a result, projects created by paid plan now have an expiration date set at 30 days, and those by free plan have an expiration date set at 7 days.

Pro plan users have the option to save projects permanently to edit and export them by storing them. Each Pro plan user will have access to 100GB of storage space per pack. Additional storage space can be purchased if needed.

Pro plan users can choose to automatically save all their future projects by turning on the auto-save button on the dashboard.

For projects created prior to the implementation of this new policy on April 12th, please consult this article for additional details.

What happens to my expired projects?

Projects created after March 1st will no longer be exportable or editable once they have expired after the 30-day period. You make them editable and exportable by saving them to storage before they expire.

Projects created before March 1st will also expire after 30 days, but they can still be exported, although not edited.

  • For trial and Starter plan users, please ensure that you export these projects before April 16th, as they will be deleted after that date, and you won’t be able to export them.
  • For Pro plan users, projects are automatically saved to your cloud storage, allowing you to export them even after April 16th.
