OpusClip gives Pro and Enterprise users two ways to post to X:
- Post Now - Instantly sends your clip to your connected X account and publishes it to your public feed.
- Schedule - Lets you select a future date and time for the post to go live, directly from within the OpusClip platform.
This feature allows for fast, flexible distribution to X without needing to leave your workflow. Each X Post consumes 1 credit, and you can post up to 150 posts per day.
- Navigate to your project: Open your project’s results page.
- Select Clips: Click on the calendar icon to post or schedule your chosen clip
- Publish to X:
- Select account: Select the X platform you want to post to
- Credit Usage: Credit usage for each post will be indicated beside your account name, and total credit usage is shown at the bottom of the page.
- Post/Schedule: Click on “Post Now” to post immediately or click on “Select time” to schedule your clip. Your credits will be automatically deducted.
How many credits does an X post consume?
Each X Post consumes 1 credit. You’ll see the total credit usage displayed at the bottom of the posting window, next to the “Schedule” and “Post Now” buttons.
Can I schedule posts to X?
Yes. You can schedule a clip to be published at any future date and time using the “Select Time” button.
How do I edit or delete a scheduled X Post?
Go to the Calendar page in the left-hand thumbnail toolbar. From there, you can click on the desired clip and edit the caption or scheduled time, or delete the post entirely. If you delete your post, your credit will be automatically refunded.
If I delete a scheduled X Post, will I get my credit back?
Yes. If you delete a scheduled post, the credit is automatically refunded to your account.
What happens if my post fails to publish? Will I get my credit back?
If the post fails due to connection issues or platform errors, the credit is automatically refunded. No action is required.
How many times can I post to X per day?
You can post or schedule up to 150 times per day.
Can I edit the caption before posting?
Yes. You’ll have the option to customize the caption and hashtags before clicking “Post Now” or “Select Time”. After posting, any edits must be made manually on X.
Where does the post appear after publishing?
It will appear immediately on your connected X profile in your public feed.
What if I don’t see my post on X?
Make sure your X account is still connected. Check your Post History in OpusClip and refresh your profile. If the post fails, your credit will have already been refunded.
