Shadowbanning FAQ
What is shadowbanning?
Shadowbanning occurs when a user’s content is suppressed or hidden on a platform without their knowledge, typically due to rule violations or spam. This makes it difficult for them to reach or engage with others. Although no platforms officially admit to practicing shadowbanning, experiencing unusually low views may be an indicator that your content is being restricted.
Will using OpusClip cause my content to be shadowbanned?
No. Our software repurposes the existing content created by you, to be posted by you. OpusClip is a verified third-party social media posting platform. We only support the official API from each social media platform and maintain regular contact with their Developer Team.
Is it possible to get lower views when posting from third-party platforms, like OpusClip?
Under extremely rare circumstances, and if you do experience this, you should contact the specific social media platform’s Support Team.
