# Why Did My Clip Post to YouTube as a Normal Video and Not a Short?

In order for your clip to be posted as a YouTube Short, it must meet the following requirements:

**- Must be in Vertical Layout (9:16)**

**- The video length must be under 180 Seconds**

If your clip meets these requirements and still isn't being posted as a short, please reach out to our support team!
