# How Can I Split My Clip into 2 Clips and Download Them?

At this time, we do not have a feature that can automatically split your clips into two separate clips for you to download them.

However, we do have a workaround found below.

1. Open up the clip in the editor.
2. Move the playhead to the point where you want to split the clip.
3. Press the **D** key or use the keyboard shortcut **CMD + B** (on Mac) to split the clip at that point.
4. Delete either half of your split clip.
5. Navigate to the top right hand corner and click **Export** and choose **Download HD**.
6. Revert the deletion you made by clicking the **Undo** arrow.
7. Repeat steps 4-5 with the other half of your split clip.
