# How is Brand Kit different from Brand Template?

Brand Kit is the upgraded version of Brand Template.

Your existing settings, such as logos and caption styles, will carry over.

The biggest changes are:

* **Brand Kit controls style. Recipe controls features.** For example, Brand Kit controls how captions look, while Recipe controls whether captions are turned on.

* **One Brand Kit supports multiple aspect ratios.** You no longer need a separate template for every ratio.
