# I am a customer from the European Union (EU). How should I handle Value-Added Tax (VAT)?

Opusclip does not directly bill European Union (EU) customers for Value-Added Tax (VAT) on the invoice. Instead, if the customer is subject to EU VAT, the customer should use the [reverse charge mechanism](https://vatdesk.eu/en/reverse-charge-mechanism/) to stay compliant with their local tax codes and regulations.
