# Cloud Storage

# What is Cloud Storage used for?

OpusClip provides flexible storage and upload options based on your subscription plan:

* **Only Pro plan users** can save projects permanently to cloud storage.
* **Free trial users** can upload assets to the cloud, but cannot save projects.
* **Free and Starter plan users** must **upgrade to Pro** to upload assets or save projects.

# How much cloud storage do I get?

All Pro plan users have access to **100 GB of cloud storage**, shared between uploaded assets and saved projects.

<Note>Need more storage? Contact our Sales Team to learn more about the Enterprise Plan and customized storage options.</Note>

# What happens when I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

## Uploaded Assets

* **Downgrading to Free or Starter plan**: uploaded assets will be immediately removed from your asset library. Any clips using these assets will display them as "missing media" in the editor.
* **Upgrading to Pro plan**: previously uploaded assets will be automatically restored and reappear in your asset library.

## Saved Projects

* **Downgrading to Free or Starter plan**: saved projects will be **immediately removed** from cloud storage. These projects will follow the expiration policy based on their original creation date and your new plan's limits.
* **Upgrading to Pro plan**: Projects from previous plans will **not be automatically saved** to cloud storage. You'll need to **manually re-save** each project if you'd like to store them permanently.
