# Onboarding Rewards

Onboarding rewards give you free credits for getting started with Agent Opus. Complete a few short steps — things like making your first video, adding a brand kit, or creating a voice — and each one pays out credits you can spend on generating videos.

# Where do I find my onboarding rewards?

There are three ways into the rewards panel:

* The **welcome pop-up** that appears the first time you open Agent Opus after signing up. Select **Claim now** to bank your welcome bonus and open the panel.
* The **rewards launcher** in the corner of the screen. It stays there until every reward is claimed.
* The **notification bell**, under "Your setup rewards are waiting."

# What counts as a step?

Your rewards panel lists the steps available to your account. Each one is a short, one-time action that introduces a part of Agent Opus you would otherwise have to go looking for — for example:

* Make your first video
* Add your brand kit
* Create your first voice

Every card tells you what to do and what it pays. A few steps unlock in sequence rather than all at once, because they build on each other — polishing a video in the editor only becomes available once you have a video to polish.

The list of steps changes as we improve the program, so your panel is always the accurate version for your account.

# How many credits does each step pay?

The credit amount is shown on every card, and the panel header shows the total you can still earn. Amounts change as we tune the program and can differ between accounts, so read the number off your own panel rather than from anywhere else.

# How do I claim a reward?

Rewards are not added automatically. Each step moves through three states:

1. **Available** — select the card and Agent Opus takes you to the place where you complete the step.
2. **Ready to claim** — you finished the step, and the card turns green with a **Claim reward** button.
3. **Claimed** — the credits are in your balance.

Select **Claim reward** on each finished step. Credits land in your balance right away and appear in your credit history. You can complete the steps in any order.

# Two deadlines to know about

Onboarding rewards have two separate clocks, and they measure different things:

| **Clock**                                   | **What it limits**                                                                                                                 |
| ------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Time to earn** — 7 days from sign-up | How long you have to finish steps and claim them. The panel header counts this down. Anything unclaimed when it runs out closes. |
| **Time to spend** — 30 days from each claim | How long the reward credits stay in your balance after you claim them. Each reward starts its own 30 days on the day you claim it. |

<Tip>
  Claiming early does not cost you anything — a claimed reward starts its 30 days, but an unclaimed one disappears entirely when the first clock ends. Claim as you go.
</Tip>

Reward credits are separate from the monthly credits included with your plan. See the [Agent Opus Credits FAQ](/agent-opus/article/ao-faq-credits-faq) for how those work and when they expire.

# Is this available everywhere?

Onboarding rewards are rolling out by region, so what you see depends on where your account is.

**If onboarding rewards are available in your region**, the panel appears on its own during your first session. There is nothing to switch on.

**If they are not available in your region yet**, you will not see the rewards panel. We are expanding availability over time, so check back for updates.

For where Agent Opus itself is available, see [Supported Regions](/agent-opus/article/ao-supported-regions).

# Do steps count if I already did them?

Yes. If you already made a video, saved a brand kit, or edited a video in the editor before opening the rewards panel, those steps are marked as complete for you. Open the panel and claim them.

# Why is one of my steps locked?

Some steps cover Pro features — scheduling and auto-posting to your social accounts, for example. Upgrade to Pro to unlock the step, complete it, and then claim the bonus credits from the panel.

If you signed up through a friend's referral link, you will see a referral upgrade card in this spot instead.

# Why don't I see the rewards panel?

Onboarding rewards are a limited program for new accounts. You will not see the panel if:

* Your account is on a paid plan. Onboarding rewards are for **Free** and **Trial** accounts.
* Onboarding rewards are not available in your region yet.
* Your account was not brand new when you first opened Agent Opus, or your 7-day earning window has already ended.
* We have not rolled it out to your account yet. We are releasing onboarding rewards gradually, so it may not appear on every new account.

# Where do I see the credits I earned?

Open your credit history from the subscription page. Every reward appears as its own entry, named after the step that earned it.
